Growing Up

CHILDREN

Most children didn't learn how to read or wright because there was to much work to do.Boys would help collect fire wood and learnt how to fight in battle.        However girls did cooking and helped to weave cloth.

HOME SWEET HOME

If you were an Anglo-Saxon you would live in a very crowded house as your whole family lived there to as well as you. Even your grandparents and pets.          WOW! 

                                  FUN FACT!

                                                                                       Most girls married at the age of 10!

CLOTHES

Anglo-Saxon men and boys usually wore tunics with tight trousers but women and girls would wear long dresses.
