ANGLO SAXON CHILDREN

This is a blog about the lives of Anglo Saxon children.

                                          Toys

The toys of the Anglo Saxon were home-made. The toys were wooden, rag dolls, Swords ,Ships and Board games. Children liked playing Houses, doctors and nurses.

Clothes

          The kids of the Anglo Saxon wore short turnips , tied at the waist. They did not wear cloaks.

                                                  Girls

Girls learned house keeping skills, such as: Weaving clothes , Cooking , Making cheese and Brewing Ale. By the age of 10 girls were considered adults and some got married. By the age of 14 you were expected to leave home!
